The heater has a 6000 watt rating and can heat an area of about 10 by 14 feet when mounted at a height of 10 to 14 feet. Infratech uses medium wave infrared heat to create a pleasant glow without glare or annoying light, and it boasts exceptional performance and durability. These American-made heaters are made of recyclable materials and emit no greenhouse gases, odors, or ultraviolet light when in use. In contrast to other heaters, infrared heaters radiate heat onto people and objects rather than the easily blown-away surrounding air. The inset mounting brackets on Infratech CD-Series infrared heaters produce a floating effect when mounted. Quartz electric elements, which can last up to 5000 hours, are used in Infratech heaters.
